VERSALYTE BENEFITS Hydration We all know hydration is key. Sometimes drinking enough water in the day is tough. We make it easier by giving two refreshing & tasty electrolyte flavors to add to your water. More water = more hydration. More electrolytes = better hydration . Performance Focused Most electrolyte powders are largely flavored table salt. Just look at the sodium content on them! Versalyte is focused on more expensive electrolytes, like magnesium and calcium, which are crucial for muscle function and contraction . Versalyte is the premium performance focused electrolyte. Sugar Free Unlike sports drinks, Versalyte is sugar free. Unless you are performing very intense physical or endurance training (1+ hours), sugar is not necessary for rehydrating and replenishing. Should you be in that intense crowd, add one scoop of VersaCARB to your Versalyte . Read more Superior Formulation Premium Minerals Rather than making an electrolyte powder that is overpriced table salt like most products out there, we focused on the important electrolytes for muscle function and contraction, and we used the highest quality forms. Magnesium and Calcium Glycerophosphate are some of the most bioavailable forms of those minerals, and we included both at a clinical dose. Tart Cherry We include a full serving of tart cherry juice powder for its powerful antioxidant potential and benefits on muscle function. Numerous studies show that it can enhance recovery, sports performance, and reduce muscle soreness which make it the PERFECT enhancement for an electrolyte product . Amazing Flavors At PEScience we put just as much innovation in our flavoring as we do the ingredient formulas. Through extensive trial we came up with 2 INCREDIBLE flavors for Versalyte - Citrus Splash & Wild Berry Splash . We didnt need to add any artificial sweeteners, flavors, or added sugars either, but when you taste it you might find yourself double checking the label to make sure you're not cheating on your diet! The study concluded that occurs from fat cells which are saturated with water release fat more easily (to be burned as fuel), and muscle cells saturated with water save protein more easily. • A 2018 study in soccer players shows that mild dehydration led to a greater increase in cortisol levels. • A 2008 study in strength training individuals showed that dehydration resulted in an extra-high cortisol peak after strength training and a reduced, but not statistically significant release of testosterone and growth hormone. • A 2001 study showed that drinking water (staying hydrated) during cardio results in better growth hormone response. MUSCLE & PERFORMANCE FOCUSED - Most electrolyte powders are largely flavored table salt. Just look at the sodium content on them! Versalyte focuses on the more more important electrolytes, like magnesium and calcium, which are crucial for muscle function and contraction.

HYDRATION - Numerous studies show that adequate hydration improves everything, even fat loss! We all know its important, but sometimes drinking enough water is difficult, and its even harder for a hard training individual who sweats out electrolytes than someone sedentary. We make it easier by giving two refreshing & tasty electrolyte flavors to add to your water. More water = more hydration. More electrolytes = better hydration.

SUGAR FREE - Unlike other electrolyte products, Versalyte is sugar free. Unless you are performing very intense physical or endurance training (1+ hours), sugar is not necessary for rehydrating and replenishing. We want more of your money going to the superior ingredients rather than sugar.

The flavor is a bit strong but in juice it's fine. IT did help me stay hydrated I noticed over my workout. In that regard it did was it was supposed to, so yay! :) It's a good product, but if you are keen on flavor and using water, maybe look for something with a bit more flavor in it.The most striking thing about this electrolyte powder is that the taste doesn't strike you. But I want a mix that doesn't try to beat up my taste buds, so I'll focus on that before talking about the nutrition. (By the way, the four stars, rather than five, is because it's not great for my specific health needs, but I really like it. It may be perfect for you.)I'm new to the whole electrolyte mix thing. I'm not an athlete, but someone with low blood pressure and POTS whose cardiologist said to drink stuff like this. I'm 40 and rarely consume things like cane sugar, corn syrup, or artificial sweeteners. That's important, because how things taste to us can vary a ton based on what we're used to and how old we are. This Wild Berry Splash from Versalyte is my favorite so far in terms of taste, after previously sampling multiple flavors from four brands (Biosteel, Liquid IV, Fluid Tactical, and DripDrop). It doesn't have sugar or stevia—both of which I dislike—and instead is flavored with monk fruit extract and "natural flavors". The tart cherry extract apparently isn't meant as a flavor.Anyway, it tastes like fruit water. As in, big fruit slices were just put in water and then you drink it. Simple. It's not overwhelming, and if you are used to eating or drinking diabetes bombs, honestly it'll probably taste too watered down for you. But it might be a good idea to adjust your palette and abandon the sugar drinks that masquerade as health drinks! The mouth feel is fine for me. I got a few flavored, undissolved tiny bits in my initial glass after a quick mix. They weren't quite gritty, but noticeable to someone paying attention. Maybe they'd dissolve if you mix it up ahead of time and let it sit. The viscosity is better than I'd expect from something with so many vitamin/mineral ingredients. Which takes us to the actual nutrition content. The amounts of calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, and potassium are much higher than I'm used to seeing. That seems nice. The sodium amount is very low—even lower than the amount in a "low sodium" packet from Fluid Tactical. That's good, I guess, if you've got tons of sodium in your diet already. If you have POTS like me and your doctor tells you to increase your sodium intake, this should not be your only choice for this kind of product. In spite of that, I like the unobtrusively pleasant flavor and generous mineral amounts so much that I am happy to alternate between this powder and some high-sodium options I have. If you find other mixes sickeningly sweet and you don't need your mix(es) to be high in sodium, this electrolyte mix may be for you.About my pictures—My pictures show the jar/label all the way around, plus the bottom. I ordered it in April of 2022 and the printed expiration date is January of 2024, so that's 17 months before expiration. The label says you should use it within three months of opening so it doesn't clump.I've got pictures of the powder and pour so you might have some visual clue as to the consistency. It's probably not surprising. After I mixed it with water, there was a tiny bit of foaming, so I tried to grab a quick pic before it went away. It's likely due to the taurine, since that's an amino acid and proteins tend to cause foaming (like when ocean waves crash and froth).Just after this, I focused the camera on the minuscule floating bits at the top. Most were lighter, but some were the darker red bits. I actually ended up putting it in the refrigerator for a little while before drinking more than an initial sip, and it seemed like more of the bits dissolved by the time I got back to it.Good luck finding the right match for your health needs! As far as flavoring goes, it’s decent and it is advertised as light flavoring so don’t expect the strong flavor that you’re used to from supplements. Depending on how much you use for the water, it can almost be like hardly any flavoring so the number of scoops will decrease the actual serving size. I’m generally a fan of their products but I’m not sure about this one being worth it. Sure it may have some trademarked ingredients but I am not a competitor so I am not sure it’s worth it compared to other hydration and electrolyte products for a cheaper price.I have ordered a lot of different products from prescience and am always impressed with them. This product didn't disappoint. I am not an endurance athlete, but with summer coming, it is so hot and humid where I live, that I wanted something I could drink when I am just dripping sweat from being outside. I like this powder because it is not overly sweet and is actually a pretty subtle flavor. It also is a nice change from just drinking water all the time. For me, the flavor is good--I wouldn't exactly describe it as citrus splash, it just tastes fruity. The powder mixes up very well and I think it is priced competitively. I like this and enjoy drinking it, especially when I am so sweaty from being outside!Good non-GMO electrolyte supplement with a fine taste. The cost could be maybe a little bit lower....flavor.I usually want about 20 ounces of electrolyte at a time. The package suggests mixing one scoop of this to 8-10 ounces of water.I started with 10.Not the level of flavor I wanted.I added another 6 and poured a second scoop of this on top; so 1 scoop per 8 ounces of water. This mixed well with no noticeable settling of product. At that ratio of product/water, I would say the intensity of flavor and sweetness was somewhere between a 4-5 on a 10 scale. It's described as "mixed berry splash" flavor, but to be honest, in a blind taste test, I would not be able to call it that.I would say "fruity" tasting, just not sure what.It has tart cherry extract in it and to be honest, I would have loved if they had featured cherry as the main flavor. It is described as "keto" friendly and sugar free (Yay). It's sweetened with monk fruit sweetener.Though there is no carb listing (likely zero carbs) the "supplement facts" label is shown on the product page; always appreciate that.Always glad to have a good quality electrolyte mix like this around.Glad I ordered it.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating. The powder is quite fine but it does take a serious shake to fully dissolve them. You may also need to leave them in the water for about five minutes or more before the shaking can take full effect. The overall hydration effects is consistent with similar products I've tried. I would say it is more superior or inferior than other products but the packaging can be consistent for use if you're accustomed to individually wrapped and just rip/pour style. You have a scoop that comes with it so definitely keep it dry so you can re-use it after each time.Kinda threw me off that mixed berry was a peach color. Honestly doesn't like the flavor or just was weak imo which made it taste wierd. Added true lemon raspberry to make it taste good which isn't a problem to me. I drink it after doing yardwork.
