No scoop :(Amazon asked me the flavor....ask me the purity its gona taste how it tastes, if you know what your doing your end product will be pleasent. I will probably order from a different vendor next time. But to answer the question it tastes like vitamin c, or like when you swallow a multivitamin and just catch a bit of the vitamin/ vitamin c flavor in your mouth afterwards. So now having been asked the flavor and having thought it was odd this tastes like diluted vitamin c or more like pottassium citrate than potassium gluconate if i wasnt concerned before about the purity or authinticity of the product i am certainly now.If the next vendors product tastes the same i will remove this review. The flavor is not at all unpleasant unless your incompetent in the kitchen in which case really why are you buying this? Chefs and mad scientist you will have no issues. Mad scientist you should stop relying on the scoops and buy yourself a scale but its still nice to have the scoop with each respective product to put on the scale so prepare to be mad you have no scoop. Also the bag will not close well so you gym bros that like to backpack all your random powders to the gym, im guilty too, you should plan on getting a real container cuz this one wont due.Solubility into tap water is ok, should be a first ingredient when mixing, will not suspend in fluid mixture will clump and stick to conainer walls may trap other ingredients.I like using products without a bunch of fillers that I don’t need. This dissolves in my coffee without changing the flavor.Disclaimer: As with any dietary supplement, consult a medical professional for an appropriate dosage for you or use at your own discretion. This review is not medical advice.Despite eating a balanced diet with lots of leafy greens and vegetables, getting enough potassium is quite difficult for me. This powder is a convenient and easy-to-dose supplement for me to ensure I get an adequate amount of this mineral. It dissolves fairly easily in water, but can clump a little, so I find that adding it to water helps dissolving (as does stirring). The flavor is a little salty, so I add enough water for this to be mild, or I may add a splash of tea or something with other flavor. This saltiness typically accentuates sweet flavors, which I've noticed when combining this with flavored electrolyte powders. It is much less salty than potassium chloride, which is typically used as a low-sodium salt substitute. It can be tough for a lot of individuals to get enough, especially those with gastrointestinal-related health conditions. Potassium is an important electrolyte which plays a critical role in muscular functioning and heart health. Too little, and one may notice muscle or leg cramps, or longer period of aches and recovery time after workouts. Too much isn't good for one's health either, so review the recommended daily value (RDV) guidelines and do your due-diligence before supplementing!A side note: the packaging states a dose of 435mg (== 0.435g), which provides 2% of the RDV of potassium. In principle, 50x that quantity gives the full 100%, which equates to roughly 21-22g of *this powder* (approximation due to potential rounding error). PLEASE be careful about volume to weight conversions! This "seeming discrepancy" is because this product is not composed solely of potassium; potassium gluconate is a molecular compound, so potassium + other chemicals (in particular, KC₆H₁₁O₇). The only way for pure potassium to exist on its own is in its ionic form (e.g. as electrolytes dissolved in water).I have been using this in conjunction with some intense stimulants to keep cramps away. So far it has done the job, but it hasn't been a pleasant experience.2 main issues with the powder.1. It will NOT mix in well. It doesn't matter what I do, I get clumps. Lots of them. I have tried every approach aside from using hot water, since I don't want to have to wait for it to cool. I end up manually breaking up lots of little clumps, and drinking plenty of smaller ones that I didn't feel like breaking up.2. The taste isn't awful, but it isn't great. It has sort of a salty, dangerous chemical feel about it. Like, the alarm bells in your brain designed to warn you that you just ingested something dangerous might go off from this. Almost like a salty chlorine sort of a vibe. Not ideal. The taste doesn't linger, and it isn't as bad as some misguided protein powder flavors I have tried in the past, but not great.I will be looking for a different powder when this massive bag eventually runs out.Plant foodI'm a 64.5 year old man who has been having nocturnal CRAMPS in the calfs of both of my legs between 3am and 4:30am. I even went to see my primary physician for this issue. He did some blood work and told me my electrolytes were fine. I've been on a KETO way of eating and had been taking, before bedtime, up to 2500mg of magnesium oxide in tablets. This worked 30% of the time and I even wore compression socks as well. When I take 1 TBS of this product with the 2000mg of magnesium oxide tablets, I HAVE NO NOCTURNAL CRAMPS AT ALL! Apparently I just need more of the POTASSIUM PLUS the MAGNESIUM before bedtime. :-)I SPECIFICALLY WANT TO THANK ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE ON THIS POTASSIUM GLUCONATE area who professed the wonders of using this supplement to RID THEMSELVES of those (for me, excrusiating) LEG and specifically CALF CRAMPS. I had actually purchased this product in July of 2016 but never really took the appropriate dosage until last night only to wake up with NO CALF CRAMPS WHATSOEVER!!!!!!WHAT A RELIEF TO FINALLY FIND SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after SO SO SO many failed attempts using other supplements, etc...THANK YOU BULKSUPPLEMENTS and those others who wrote about your experiences with Potassium Gluconate and how it eliminated your nocturnal leg cramps. I could not have discovered this without your sharings which is the exact reason that I am sharing this now.
